Roof Restoration in Forest Lake – Nutech Tileflex Sienna
The team have the privilege of restoring this incredible tiled roof in Forest Lake. The before and after photos speak for themselves – this roof restoration breathed new life once again into our customer’s home and the customer was beyond pleased!
The Roof Restoration Process
The large job entailed erecting guard rail to comply with OH&S regulations and to keep our team safe. Then all broken tiles were changed and the gutters and valleys were cleaned, removing all leaves and debris. The roof was thoroughly cleaned using a Whirlaway and the ridge capping was re-bedded and re-pointed using the flexible pointing – Nutech’s Maxi Point. Weep holes were then drilled to prevent leaking as a result of water building up in the ridges.
The roof was then dust washed prior to painting to ensure a perfect paint application. A coat of Nutech Primer was then applied and two coats of Nutech’s Tileflex Roof Membrane in the colour Sienna were then applied.
The team left 6 tiles for our customer that had been cleaned, primed and painted to match the roof, should they ever require them in the future. Spare roof paint was also left for our customer in case touch-ups were required from future trades, etc. on the roof. A full inspection of the roof was carried out to ensure everything was completed perfectly and the job site was left as it was when the team arrived.
