The cost for your roof restoration depends on a few key things:

• • Does it need rebedding and repointing?
    If your ridges require a full rebed in addition to reporting the ridge capping this bumps up the cost.

• • Is it a two-storey home?
    Australian law states guard rail must be applied to two story roofs – which comes at a cost to errect and take down once the job is finished. 

• • How big is your roof?
    Naturally, if you have a larger roof area this costs more than a tiny cottage roof. We also must take into account the pitch of the roof.

• • Has it been painted before?
    If the previous job wasn’t done properly, we may need to strip it back with a turbo head clean, which costs more. Peeling paint is a major issue and can double the cleaning time and cost. In worst cases, a failed previous paint job can mean a full reroof is needed down the track.
